Mission Statement
The Nephi Public Library is committed to serve and aid in the needs of our community by providing high interest, quality educational technological resources of print and non-print materials for persons of all ages, to assist students engaged in educational pursuits, and to encourage children to discover the excitement of reading and learning.
Disclaimer
The Nephi Public Library serves all residents of Nephi, Mona, Levan, Rocky Ridge, and Yuba Dam. Residents living outside of the Nephi City limits will be asked to pay a $20 use fee for each family per year. Service will not be denied on the basis of race, religion, social, economic, political status, or sexual orientation.
The library may extend use privileges to persons residing outside the area or to temporary citizens on such terms and condition as librarians see fit. Use of the library may be denied for due cause. Such cause may be failure to return library materials, to pay fines, for intentionally destroying library property, for disturbing or harassing other patrons, or any other objectionable conduct on the library or city building premises.
Rules of Conduct
Patrons will be responsible for maintaining proper behavior in the library. Children will be expected to maintain proper behavior as well. The library staff will not be responsible for or care for unsupervised children in the library. Please do not leave your children unattended while using the Internet. Children who are disruptive will be warned and if behavior continues, they will be asked to leave the library.
- Loitering, abusive language, and harassment of patrons or library staff is prohibited.
- Bringing food or drinks into the library is prohibited.
- The library is not responsible for personal items left in the library.
- The library staff will not be responsible for the safety of children left unattended.
- Animals or pets are prohibited in the library, except for assist dogs.
- Shoes and shirt must be worn in the library.
- Solicitation of any kind is prohibited.
- Any disruptive or unlawful behavior is prohibited in the library.
