Services
Books, Magazines, & Newspapers - Our collection consists of over 24,000 books and magazines available for checkout. We subscribe to about 17 different magazines, including: Better Homes and Garden, Good Housekeeping, Newsweek, Consumer Reports, National Geographic, People, and more. All books and magazines can be checked out for 2 weeks (renewals can be made over the phone or in the library).
Videos & DVDs - We have over 1000 videos and DVDs available for checkout. There is no fee to check them out, and they check out for 1 week (renewals can be made over the phone or in the library).
Special Collections - We have in our collection some older books available to the public (Family histories, Local histories, High School yearbooks, etc.). These books do not check out from the library, but copies can be made from most of them for personal use.
Public Internet Access - the Nephi Public Library currently has 7 computers for public internet use. Our computers also feature word-processing programs. Sign up in the library and start browsing!
Children’s Programs - Join us every Tuesday morning from 10am - 11am during the school year (September-April) for Toddler Time and Story Time (for all children ages 0-6).
Summer Reading Program - designed to keep children and young adults reading during the summer break, there are a variety of fun activities and prizes throughout the summer.
Interlibrary Loan - Looking for a book we don’t have? We can order it for you from another library and have it here for you usually within a few weeks. The price of return postage is the only cost!
Printing & Photocopying - We have 2 printers/ photocopiers available to make copies. Color prints are 20¢ each and Black and White are 10¢ each.
Laminating - Laminating services are $1 each for 8½” x 11” sheets and 50¢ each for 4” x 6” sheets. (Please call to schedule a time for laminating services.)
Distance Learning - Our library will proctor testing for those taking online courses. We have a private study room with an internet-access computer to meet your testing needs.
WebCam - We have recently received a donation of a webcam with microphone for the use of all families who wish to talk online to their loved ones currently serving in the Middle East.
