ELECTION INFORMATION

 The following are open for candidacy, 1 Mayor Position, and two City Council positions both are four-year term positions. 

Vote by Mail:  The general election will be conducted by mail. Ballots will be mailed to registered voters within Nephi City no sooner than 21 days before election day, and no later than 14 days before election day.  Return ballots may be mailed or may be dropped off at the following locations:

*Nephi City Office, 21 East 100 North, Nephi, UT 84648

*Juab County VOTING BOX located behind the Juab County EMS Station, located at 160 North Main Street, Nephi, UT 84648
Ballots will be accepted in the drop boxes until 8 p.m. on the day of the General Election.

 Mailed ballots must be postmarked or otherwise marked as "received" by the post office on or before November 1, 2021

Early Voting will begin Tuesday, October 19,2021 and end Friday, October 29, 2021. Voting hours will be M-Th from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 12 noon. Registered voters may vote at City Hall 21 E. 100 N, if voters did not receive a ballot through the mail or if voters prefer to vote in person. 

Election Day:
On Election Day, November 2, 2021, there will be an "Election day voting center" which is a polling place designated by the election officer to provide for voting on election day for an eligible voter.  The election day voting center will be located at City Hall (21 E. 100 N.)  and will be opened from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.  If individuals choose to vote in person on election day, please bring a photo ID. 

. Results will be posted no later than November 3, 2021, on this website.

Absentee Ballots:
Registered voters may request an absentee ballot from the Nephi City Recorder. You may register to vote at the Juab County Clerk's Office or online at vote.utah.gov.
