Coronovirus (COVID-19) Nephi City Preparation
Nephi City officials and staff continue to monitor the current COVID-19 outbreak in Utah, and are working with local and state leaders to ensure that we stay on top of the latest information. In the meantime, we ask that you continue to follow typical flu season guidelines of washing your hands thoroughly, staying at home when you are sick, covering your nose when you cough or sneeze and keeping your home and workspace clean.

STATUS OF CITY SERVICES
Nephi City Hall is OPEN.
NEED TO PAY A BILL?
1. Drop your payment in the City Dropbox located at 70 East 200 North (between the police station and courthouse).
NO CASH in the City Outside Dropbox.
2. Nephi City Hall Dropbox: Located in the South doors of Nephi City Hall, a dropbox is available during business hours.
CASH ACCEPTED. Please note this location is monitored 24 hours a day.
3. Online. Click HERE for the direct link to our vendor Xpress Bill Pay. It is easy and does not have fees. IF you need more

4. Phone: Call by phone to our office at (435) 623-0822, you can pay by credit or debit card.
**IF YOU NEED A RECEIPT FOR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND: Please contact the city office at (435)623-0822. Utility payments can be mailed to the address, or emailed to an email.**
Nephi City Public Library is conducting a soft opening at this time:
Monday and Wednesday 11-3
Tuesday and Thursday 2-6
The library will be following ALL recommendations given by Governor Herbert and the Six Counties Public Health Department, patrons are asked to assist us by following the precautions:
-Please follow ALL safe social distancing directives, allow a distance of 6’
-Masks are HIGHLY encouraged
-Patrons are asked to please sanitize BEFORE and AFTER entering the library
-Browsing needs to be done with eyes, please do not touch materials you do not plan on checking out.
-Checkouts are limited to two per person in the household.
-Storykits are not available for checkout at this time.
-Library computers are available for work purposes, and cannot be used at entertainment at this time.
-Returned items have a quarantine period of 3-5 business days, they cannot be checked out until this time has elapsed.
PICK-UP and HOLDS:
The library has the ability to do curbside pick-up and holds if you do not wish to enter the library and we are STRONGLY encouraging all to use this option. You can place items on hold by calling our number at (435)623-1312 or do so on the online system HERE.
Materials for pick-ups can also be placed on a cart for the patron to pick-up without entering the library, please call us as you are coming during our business hours so materials can be placed and ready.

NO fines will be assessed.

** PLEASE NOTE: Garbage is being picked-up on the normal schedule. The drivers are NOT allowed to exit the truck at anytime.
In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 please follow the Nephi City Garbage Policies and help us do the following:
1. DO NOT overfill garbage cans
2. Trash that tips over or falls out is the responsibility of the patron. Drivers cannot assist in clean-up.
3. DO NOT place filled balloons in the trash, please pop them. They float into power lines, and pollute the roads.
4. ALL trash must be placed in trash bags, this will assist and prevent trash falling on the roads and additional clean-up.

HOW WE ARE WORKING TO KEEP YOU SAFE:
All departments have rigorous cleaning procedures in place. All office departments are working to ensure that counters, materials, door handles are being sanitized after each visit. Our staff are also practicing the directives from the State and Federal Guidelines in handwashing, sanitizing, and staying home when unwell. We are dedicated to ensuring that each member of our community know that our primary goal during this difficult time is to stay safe.
