The Finance department is responsible for collecting and receipting all revenues received by the City, tracking expenditures, disbursing payments and manages the billing for all City services.
Nephi City is dedicated to the transparency and accountability of city government finances and information. Each year the City adopts an annual budget. This process is an exercise by City staff and the City Council in evaluating and projecting existing and future revenues and expenditures. The City Council adopts a fiscal plan that says how Nephi City is going to collect and spend public funds in the next 12 months.
