Glade Nielson, Mayor Current Term: 2018 - 2022
Kent WM. Jones, Councilmember Current Term: 2018 - 2022 I was raised in Nephi, but got lost in the big city, so after 42 years of work in the criminal justice system, I came home where my heart never left. I have a B.S. in Law Enforcement from BYU and graduate studies at Utah in Educational Psychology, but the best life learning was that which I received at Juab High School. I also attended the Judicial College at the University of Nevada-Reno. I have volunteered as a Scout Master; LDS missionary; Humanitarian expedition's to Guatemala and Viet Nam; ten years at Antelope Island State Park and Archaeological digs. I am the father of two sons.
Nathan Memmott, Councilmember Current Term: 2020 - 2024 Nathan Memmott was born and raised in Nephi. He graduated from Juab High and Weber State University with a bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering Technology. For the past 29 years, Nathan has worked at Novell/Micro Focus in testing and technical support departments. He is married to Stefanie Stephenson and they have four children and six beautiful grand-kids. He enjoys spending time with his family and being outdoors. Nathan is enjoying his first four-year term serving on the City Council.
Larry Ostler, Councilmember Current Term: 2020 - 2024 I am a lifelong resident of Nephi. I have worked for the city, and retired after 31 1/2 years of service. The community is important to me, and I have served in many ways from East Juab Little League Baseball, coached, and been a past president of Nephi "Jc's." I love this community and love serving here. I am married and am the father of 4 sons.
Justin Seely, Councilmember Current Term: 2020 - 2024 I am a proud graduate of the class of ‘92 here at old Juab High. After graduating from Juab High School, I studied agriculture at BYU Idaho, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice, with a minor in Political Science from Southern Utah University, and received a Masters in Social Work from the University of Utah. I have 20 years of experience in the field of human services, working with at-risk youth. Having worked with this population, I recognize that we need to provide more opportunities for the teens and youth in our community. The foundation of Nephi is the close-knit community of people who know and care for one another. I pledge to continue to seek honest and useful solutions, without sacrificing our community’s values. I love that my wife and I have been able to raise our three children here with “Nebo on the left, Red Cliffs on the right” there is no better place to see your children grow up.
Skip F. Worwood, Councilmember Current Term: 2018 - 2022 I am a graduate of Juab High School, was active in Student Government, and served on the States Superintendents Advisory Board.
