Airport

Nephi City runs the J. Randy McKnight Nephi City Municipal Airport.  The airport was renamed after J. Randy McKnight who was the city’s administrator for 37 years.  In Nephi City, the city administrator also serves as the Airport Manager.  The municipal airport serves as a base of operations for a number of aviation-related industries.  It also is one of many rural airports in Utah.  The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) provides funding for capital projects at the airport.  This funding is budgeted in the Capital Projects Fund.
