Nephi hired its first full-time City Planner in the last budget cycle to help with the increase in development. This department is tasked with plan reviews to ensure compliance with Nephi City's land use ordinance as well as business license reviews and mapping. The City Planner also reviews the city's land use ordinance and proposes proactive changes in conformance with the city's General Plan. This department also houses funds that contribute toward Juab County's economic development position.
